CATHERINE

Catherine is an invitation to take a break from the noise and natter away to a familiar face found in every community in England. Jack Boal’s intrinsically English drag performance comes to centre:mk as an elderly lady sets up with biscuits, nick-nacks and unsent letters. With her shopping trolley to hand, what will be exchanged as Catherine takes her place and who will join her? From the mundanity of Christmas shopping to the riots in the streets, what can the elders of our communities share to gently guide us into an uncertain future?

Sat 23rd & Sun 24th Nov, 11:00-15:00 Silbury Arcade entrance to Queen’s Court, centre:mk
